Licensed Automotive Technician – Evening Shift (Hourly Pay)

The role

Perform Clutch standardized vehicle inspections (stationary and road tests) Diagnose and assess vehicle issues and damage Perform Ontario Provincial Safety Inspections Make recommendations about vehicle repairs and the best course of action Perform repairs and preventative maintenance such as oil changes, suspension and brake jobs Create and maintain documentation of repairs, inspections, and estimates Ensure vehicles meet Clutch’s mechanical and safety standards Communicate vehicle status, repair needs, and completion timelines Use diagnostic tools and shop systems (e.g., Google Drive, Slack) Contribute to continuous improvement of mechanical procedures Metrics/measurement of success include inspection thoroughness, repair quality, safety compliance, turnaround time, and documentation accuracy
