The role

We’re looking for a Junior Accountant to support our Group Accounting team with day-to-day finance operations across several Mapon entities. You’ll work with supplier and customer invoices, bank transactions, reconciliations, payments and month-end activities while learning from experienced colleagues. The role is designed as a clear entry point into an accounting career at Mapon, with the opportunity to grow into Accountant-level responsibility within time. Support daily accounting for assigned Mapon group entities, including processing supplier and customer invoices. Register and process accounting documents in FITEK and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, making sure the information is accurate. Help process bank transactions and statements, prepare payments and reconcile balances across accounting systems. Process platform and corporate card payments, travel expenses, advance settlements and supporting documents for fixed assets. Support month-end closing, VAT and statistical reporting, and audit requests together with experienced accounting colleagues. Respond to routine accounting questions from suppliers and customers and collaborate with the wider accounting team.
