Quantum Error Correction Experiment Engineer

The role

Implement, execute, analyse, and report results of quantum error correction benchmark and demonstration experiments on superconducting quantum processors Develop features for the Quantum Computer Control Software stack in collaboration with quantum physicists and software engineers Contribute to the development and evaluation of QEC protocols and decoding approaches for near-term quantum processors Model and analyse error processes in quantum circuits and hardware experiments Identify technology stack requirements for QEC experimentation and propose improvements to tools and workflows Collaborate closely with experimental, theoretical, and software teams to support IQM’s fault-tolerant quantum computing roadmap Participate in regular team discussions to coordinate experiments, analyse results, and drive progress in QEC development
