Investment Associate to CapMan Infra, Helsinki

Uppgiften

You will work across the full investment lifecycle, including originating new investments and working on transactions, developing our portfolio companies and exits. We are a close-knit, entrepreneurial team with a flat structure, so you will take on real responsibility from day one and gain broad exposure and ownership. New investments: Screening opportunities, analysing companies and markets, working with counterparties and advisors, and building financial models and presentations. Transactions: A hands-on role in deals from kick-off to closing, including coordinating due diligence advisors and lenders and preparing investment committee materials. Asset management: Working closely with portfolio company management teams on strategy, investment decisions, budgets and day-to-day matters, taking part in board work and following performance. Exits: Supporting the preparation and execution of divestment processes. You will collaborate closely with the full CapMan Infra investment team, portfolio company management, CapMan's platform teams (sustainability, legal, fund management, etc.) and external partners such as advisors and lenders. You will also work on projects across the Nordic region as part of cross-border deal teams.

Vad vi förväntar oss

• Approx. 1-4 years of experience from working within investment banking, private equity, management consulting, strategy and business development in one of CapMan Infra's target sectors, or similar
• Higher education degree in relevant area such as finance, economics or engineering
• Strong analytical skills and e.g. master the use of PowerPoint and Excel
• Fluency in Finnish and English
• Strong drive, proactiveness and team player skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal presentation skills
• Hands-on financial modelling experience and solid understanding of corporate finance
• Entrepreneurial attitude, intellectual curiosity and interest in acquiring and developing infrastructure businesses are a must
