Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

Uppgiften

Identify and plan future prevention for production incidents Design globally distributed systems and processes for the organization Identify deficiencies in our current applications and infrastructure and correct them when found Define tailored solutions to complex technical problems and effectively share them with your teammates Makes significant new contributions in technology, sometimes resulting in patents, trade secrets, and/or professional publications and presentations Translates KnowBe4's strategic goals into operational plans Provides coordination across functional boundaries. May act as team lead for larger sub-projects or entire, small projects

Vad vi förväntar oss

• BS/MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus 8 years experience
• Training in secure coding practices (preferred)
• Proficient coding in multiple or unfamiliar programming languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Javascript).
• Experience architecting intricate, high-scale patterns in AWS
• Experience architecting repeatable workflows for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) - GitLab is preferred
• Superb communication and documentation skills
• Effectively able to self-manage your time across competing projects
• Ability to quickly understand, debug, and explain complex distributed systems
• AWS Cloud Certification(s) - Associate Level
• AWS Cloud Certification(s) - Professional Level
• GCP and or Azure
• Experience working for a public company
• Open-source contributions or technical blog experience
