Field trials internship

Uppgiften

Manual and mechanical maintenance of the trials Trait-scoring and all technical tasks related to plant breeding Practical work during the harvest of trial fields Preparation and sowing of trial seeds Participation in training events at the breeding station Support of the team at external locations if necessary

Vad vi förväntar oss

• Student (undergraduate or graduate) in agriculture, agronomy, horticulture or related fields (or technician for agriculture)
• Strong interest in practical plant breeding
• Resistance to outdoor work under different weather conditions
• Willing to work extra hours during peak season
• Cooperation and team spirit
• Willing to travel to external locations with short-term stays
• Very good knowledge of German and basic knowledge of English would be an advantage
• Class B and T driving licence is desirable (car & tractor)
