Project Manager – AI-enabled Software Delivery

Uppgiften

As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of custom software projects and work closely with our customers and development teams to make sure we deliver the right things – successfully and profitably. But there’s an important twist. AI and agentic development are changing how software teams work, how quickly things can be built and, consequently, how projects need to be planned, scoped and managed. In this role, you’ll lead customer projects with these new ways of working while keeping delivery, business goals and profitability on track. You’ll explore how AI agents and modern AI tools can be used throughout project delivery, and help our teams and customers adopt these new ways of working. At the same time, you’ll keep a firm grip on the fundamentals: scope, budget, profitability, expectations and customer relationships. This is also a commercial role. You’ll work with existing customers to identify what should happen next, shape upcoming work and negotiate changes and extensions to existing agreements. You should be comfortable discussing both delivery and business – and helping customers understand what AI-enabled ways of working mean for their projects. 💫 Project delivery & profitability – Own software project delivery from planning to execution, keeping scope, budget, timelines and profitability on track. As a 500-person company, we combine the support and career opportunities of a larger organization with the agility and low hierarchy of a smaller one. You’ll have experienced software professionals around you – but also genuine room to influence how we manage complex deliveries. Here are a few more reasons why Vincit is a worthwhile place for experienced IT professionals: 🌟 Shape the future of software delivery – AI is changing not only how software is built, but how projects need to be scoped, led and commercialised. You’ll have a real role in figuring out what that means in practice at Vincit. 🌟 AI at the core – work with modern AI tools in your daily work, deepen your expertise, and contribute to building AI-driven solutions. In 2026, we became the first company in Finland to receive the ISO/IEC 42001 certification for our AI management system. 🌟 Real customer and business impact – You won’t simply track tasks and timelines. You’ll work directly with customers, influence what we build next and take responsibility for the commercial success of your projects. 🌟 Strong partner ecosystem – as an SAP Gold Partner and Microsoft Solutions Partner, we work closely with leading technology providers, giving you access to high-quality projects and deep expertise. 🌟 Trusted and responsible way of working – our EcoVadis assessment and ISO certifications ensure high-quality, secure, and responsible delivery for our customers. 🌟 Broader portfolio influence – Help develop recovery practices, forecasting discipline and governance that improve delivery beyond one project. 🌟 Experienced people around you – Work alongside skilled developers, architects, designers, AI specialists and other project professionals while bringing your own perspective to how our delivery model evolves. 🌟 Room to grow into something new – We’re not looking for someone who has already spent ten years doing agentic project management. This is an opportunity to bring your existing project management skills into an area that is still taking shape.
