The role

As a Commissioning Lead, you will take ownership of the commissioning phase of high-voltage substation projects (110–400 kV) across Finland. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical expertise with on-site coordination. You will be involved already before site execution – planning commissioning activities, preparing schedules, and ensuring readiness. Once on site, you will lead the commissioning work, coordinate teams, and ensure that the substation is delivered safely, on time, and without outstanding issues. Plan and prepare commissioning activities before site execution Lead and coordinate commissioning work on site Ensure all systems are tested and ready for energisation Participate hands-on in testing when needed Work with protection systems, RTU and relay configurations Inspect, document, and report commissioning results to the client Act as the lead expert on site, supporting the wider project team
