The role
Trait-scoring and all tasks related to technical breeding Support trial-seed's production team in Italy Hands-on work during harvest of yield trials and inbreed lines Hands-on work in crop conditioning Prepare and sow testing seed Participation in lectures about practical plant breeding and management of breeding companies
What we expect
- Student (undergraduate, graduate) in agriculture, agronomy, horticulture or related fields
- Strong interest in practical plant breeding
- Resistance to outdoor and greenhouse work at diverse weather conditions
- Willingness and flexibility to work extra hours during peak season
- Cooperation and team spirit
- Availability to travel
- Good proficiency in English, basic German is advantageous
- Driving license class B is desirable
