Job Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team at AVIAREPS AG. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

Job Responsibilities**

* Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
* Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
* Support the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
* Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts.
* Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and provide financial insights.
* Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
* Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
* Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Gamma ...) and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Experience in the travel or aviation industry is a plus.
