Golang or Kotlin Developer

Project Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Golang or Kotlin developer to join an ongoing project focused on developing modern, scalable solutions in a cloud-native environment. The project leverages public cloud infrastructure and cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-performance, event-driven systems that support advanced data processing and AI-assisted workflows. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile/lean environment and contribute to improving both code quality and team development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Golang and/or Kotlin
• Develop applications in a public cloud environment, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes
• Work with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity
• Collaborate closely with other developers, DevOps, and QA engineers following agile/lean practices
• Identify opportunities to improve team processes and development workflows

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong coding experience in Golang and/or Kotlin
• Hands-on development experience in cloud-native environments (preferably GCP)
• Expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot or equivalent)
• Proven ability to work in agile/lean teams
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Desirable / Plus Skills:

• Experience with Vertex AI or other cloud-based AI services
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Experience with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j)
• Understanding of networking concepts such as IP/MPLS
• Prior experience in improving team workflows, development processes, or DevOps practices
