Sales Team Manager – Dutch Market

Ready to take the next step in your sales leadership career, in one of our strongest teams?

Our Dutch team is one of the most established and successful parts of Aurora Live. It has strong leadership, a proven playbook, and a track record of hitting targets quarter after quarter. Now the team is growing again, and we’re looking for a Sales Team Manager to lead a team of their own.

This is a player-manager role. From day one you’ll lead and coach your own team. You’ll also stay close to customers and help close deals yourself. You won’t be building from scratch or working it out alone. You’ll have experienced leaders around you to learn from, and real ownership of your team’s results.

Your role

• Lead your team from day one. Run 1:1s, coach, onboard new hires and build a team culture where people perform and grow.

• Lead by example. Join customer conversations, help with key deals and contribute directly to revenue.

• Develop your people. Help SDRs and sales reps sharpen their skills, hit their KPIs and take their next career step.

• Own performance. Manage KPIs, pipeline and forecasts, and make decisions based on data.

• Shape how the team works. Improve sales processes, prospecting and execution together with the wider Dutch leadership team.

• Work across borders. Share market insights with Product and Customer Success, and work with sales leaders across our European offices.

What you bring

• 1–2 years of experience leading an SDR/BDR team (or a similar sales team), with clear results in coaching and team performance.

• Hands-on experience across the full B2B sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing.

• Bilingual-level Dutch and fluent English.

• A good feel for the Dutch business market, especially IT & Consultancy, and how to build trust with Dutch decision-makers in these sectors.

• An AI-first mindset. You use AI tools every day to work smarter as a leader, in your own sales work and to coach and develop your team.

• A data-driven approach to pipeline, forecasting and KPIs.

• A practical, hands-on leadership style. You like developing others but still enjoy selling yourself.

• Ambition to grow as a leader in a team that is scaling.

What we offer

• A strong team to step into. You’ll join one of our most established teams, with experienced leadership and consistent success. It’s a solid base to grow as a manager.

• A clear next step in your leadership career. This role takes you from first-line leadership to owning a team, with structured support and development through our international AL Academy.

• Pay that rewards performance. Base salary, commission and a starter bonus to support you while you ramp up.

• Time to recharge. You can earn up to 12 extra vacation days a year, plus local benefits including gym and wellness perks.

• International opportunities. We have offices in Amsterdam, Helsinki, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Berlin, Stockholm, Barcelona and Kuala Lumpur, so your career can grow across Europe and beyond.

• We win together. Office celebrations, international events, and our annual summer trip to Finland with colleagues from every office.

• A truly international team. You’ll work with colleagues from more than 50 nationalities in our Amsterdam office.

How to apply

Send us your CV and a short motivation. It helps if you include:

• The team you’ve led: its size, roles and how you developed it

• KPIs you’ve owned and results you’re proud of

• Deals you’ve closed or helped close

• Processes or improvements you’ve introduced

We’re looking for a leader who motivates their team, delivers results and still loves selling: someone who leads by example.
