Client Executive – Finland

At Walley, we aim to become the preferred payment partner for leading e-commerce and retail businesses across the Nordics, and we’re looking for more talented people to join us on that journey.

We know that the right payment solution plays a crucial role in a merchant’s success. That’s why we’re looking for a Client Executive who is more than just a strong closer, someone who can challenge perspectives, build trust, and deliver payment solutions that create real business value.

If you’re excited about building long-term relationships with some of the Nordic region’s leading merchants and helping them rethink their payment experience, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for building and developing new partnerships with medium- sized to large companies within e-commerce and retail.

You will own the entire sales cycle, from identifying and engaging target merchants through proactive outbound prospecting, strategic account planning, and pipeline development to leading discovery, stakeholder management, commercial negotiations, and closing new business opportunities. Success in this role is built on your ability to generate pipeline, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and consistently drive complex sales processes to signed agreements.

Using a challenger sales approach, you will bring insights, challenge existing assumptions, and help customers uncover new opportunities to improve growth, customer experience, and commercial performance through payments.

About You

• You have solid experience in complex B2B sales, with at least three years of experience within payments, fintech, or a related industry.

• You have a proven track record of generating new business through outbound sales and prospecting activities, and you are comfortable building and managing your own pipeline.

• An established network within retail and e-commerce is considered a strong advantage.

• You are comfortable opening doors, engaging senior stakeholders, and building relationships from scratch. You thrive in environments where success is driven by initiative, persistence, and the ability to create opportunities rather than wait for them.

• You are an excellent communicator with the ability to challenge customers’ thinking, lead strategic discussions, and build credibility with decision-makers at all levels of an organization.

• You thrive in consultative and insight-driven sales environments where creating opportunities, challenging assumptions, and driving complex sales processes comes naturally. Most importantly, you are motivated by owning your results and managing the entire sales cycle from first outreach to signed agreement.
