Senior QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to high-impact software projects within the banking domain.

The ideal candidate has strong experience across both manual and automation testing, with a solid technical background in API testing, microservices, mobile and web applications, test strategy, and automated regression testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing environments.
• Proven experience in defining, designing, and executing test scenarios using Zephyr Scale, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Experience in test planning, test strategy, test estimation, and defect management.
• Strong skills in API testing (REST/SOAP), with preference for Postman or Bruno.
• Hands-on experience working with API microservices, services, and middleware modules.
• Familiarity with testing mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web frontends (Angular).
• Experience with automation tools such as Appium and Selenium is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Java or JavaScript for test automation.
• Technical proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SQL, Postman, Kibana, and the ELK stack.
• Experience with banking software, including administration, processes, products, etc.
• Experience with test data preparation and maintenance.
• Ability to identify product risks and apply risk-based testing practices.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated regression test suites.
• Experience preparing test summary reports and quality metrics.
• Good understanding of test levels and testing methodologies.
• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies for analysis, content generation, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Good command of English.

What You’ll Do

You will contribute to the full testing lifecycle, from test planning and strategy through execution, defect management, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include working across manual and automated testing environments, designing and executing test scenarios, performing API testing, validating microservices and middleware components, and contributing to the testing of mobile and web applications.

You will also be involved in maintaining automated regression suites, preparing test data, monitoring quality metrics, identifying product risks, and applying risk-based testing practices.

The role involves close collaboration with development and other project teams within an Agile Scrum environment, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, SQL, Postman, Kibana, and the ELK stack.
