ServiceNow DevOps Engineer – full-remote

About the Role

We are looking for a ServiceNow DevOps Engineer to administer, maintain, and continuously improve the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for platform operations, development, monitoring, deployments, and Level 2 support, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Support

• Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform and its modules.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and service availability.
• Identify and resolve performance issues and implement optimization initiatives.
• Provide Level 2 support by investigating and resolving incidents and service requests.
• Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.

Development & Platform Enhancements

• Develop, test, and deploy enhancements and fixes on the ServiceNow platform.
• Customize forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and portals.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Support continuous platform improvements and automation initiatives.

Release & Change Management

• Coordinate platform releases, updates, and security patch deployments.
• Support change management processes and ensure successful deployments with rollback strategies.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams during project handovers.
• Ensure platform stability, security, and compliance throughout the release lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• 3+ years of experience administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
• 2+ years of experience developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM and HRSD modules.
• Experience customizing workflows, forms, UI policies, and business rules.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrations using APIs.
• Knowledge of web technologies and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an Agile environment.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications (CAD, CIS, Micro-Certifications).
• Knowledge of networking concepts, data security, GDPR, and information security standards.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
