Summer Trainee – Process Engineer

We’re looking for a minimum third-year student with a background in material science, physics, or photonics. As a Summer Trainee, you will be involved in the development and process testing of nanoimprintable high refractive index optical coatings in an industrial R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Process testing of nanoimprintable materials in a clean room environment
• Testing and characterization of the coatings with methods such as ellipsometry and AFM

Requirements

• Minimum third-year university studies in material science, physics, photonics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in working in an industrial R&D environment
• Experience in nanoimprinting, AFM, or ellipsometry is considered an advantage
• Experience from working in a clean room is considered an advantage
