Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer with strong Commerce Cloud experience to support the development and maintenance of our Salesforce commerce environment. The role requires a technically proficient engineer comfortable with Apex, LWC, integrations, and commerce-specific functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Aura, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Use Salesforce APIs, including REST API and Named Credentials, to integrate Salesforce with other organisational systems.
- Follow Salesforce development best practices, maintain code documentation, and write and maintain test classes for all custom development.
- Work with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as part of front-end development.
- Manage source control using Bitbucket and support CI/CD tooling.
- Debug and manage Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) error logging.
- Work with Platform Events and Asynchronous Apex, including Batch Apex and Schedulable Apex.
- Support the development and maintenance of Salesforce commerce functionality.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Strong experience with Apex, Aura, and LWC development.
- Experience using Salesforce REST APIs and Named Credentials for system integrations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Bitbucket or equivalent source control tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling.
- Knowledge of Platform Events and Asynchronous Apex, including Batch and Schedulable Apex.
- Experience with SFCC debugging and error logging.
- Strong Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Cart Calculations and Checkout Flow within Commerce Cloud.
- CPQ knowledge, including:
- Product Configuration
- Price Rules
- Product Rules
