Digital New Business & Growth Lead

Tehtävän kuvaus

As Rituals continues to grow its digital business, New Digital Business is responsible for developing and scaling the next generation of digital growth channels and business models. The team manages and grows established marketplaces such as Amazon and Allegro, scales emerging channels such as TikTok Shop, works with Master Franchise partners across international markets, and explores new opportunities including AI and agentic commerce. We are now evolving from primarily running existing digital channels towards building a scalable, growth engine. This means identifying where we should play next, building the business cases to invest, strengthening the performance of our existing channels and turning emerging opportunities into scalable propositions. As our Digital New Business & Growth Lead, you will play a central role in this transformation. You work closely with the Head of New Digital Business as their commercial and strategic partner, focused on new growth opportunities, commercial development and the future of our digital business. You identify and develop new markets, channels and business models, and build the commercial case for investment. You read where consumer behaviour and technology are moving, from a new marketplace opening up, to an AI shopping agent changing how customers discover products, and translate those signals into clear recommendations and initiatives. Just as important: you make sure those ideas actually get built, not just proposed. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building something new, challenging the status quo and operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, digital commerce and innovation. In this role, you will: Drive new business development by identifying new markets, platforms, channels and business models and turning opportunities into well-founded growth proposals. Support the shaping of the channel mix by developing a clear view of the role and potential of each channel, and feed clear recommendations on where to invest, scale, experiment or pull back. Drive the execution of agentic commerce and AI opportunities, translating the strategic vision into concrete use cases, roadmaps and initiatives that create measurable commercial value. Steer strategic marketplace and platform partnerships, including challenging partners on performance, ambition and commercial opportunities. Provide commercial challenge and governance to Master Franchise markets, ensuring partners operate against clear ambitions and identifying opportunities for further digital growth. Improve cross-functional ways of working with Product, Data, Tech, Supply Chain and other teams to remove friction and enable scalable growth. Bring market and competitive insights into the organisation, continuously challenging where we play, how we win and what capabilities we need next. What makes this role different? This is not a role focused on running day-to-day marketplace operations. Instead, you will focus on where the business should go next and how we turn that ambition into commercial results. You work closely with channel owners, who are responsible for day-to-day channel performance, while you connect the dots across the business: performance, market developments, new opportunities and future capabilities. You will have significant influence but no formal people management responsibility. Success depends on your ability to connect people, challenge stakeholders and turn ambiguity into clear direction and action.
