UX/UI Designer Barebells Global

Vitamin Well Group develops premium functional drinks, snacks and protein products designed for modern, everyday life and on-the-go consumption. Our portfolio includes Barebells, NOCCO and Vitamin Well. With over 750 employees and revenue of more than SEK 10 billion, we are present in over 50 markets, with our headquarters in Stockholm and local teams and partners around the world. Our growth is driven by a focus on building strong brands, creating products with uncompromising taste and clear functionality, and consistently raising the bar across our categories.

Barebells is growing across markets, categories and digital channels – and with every new product and launch comes a new question: how do we make the experience as strong for the consumer as the brand and product itself?

We are now looking for a UX/UI Designer to bring dedicated UX and UI expertise into our Global Brand & Design team and help shape how consumers experience Barebells across our e-commerce ecosystem.

About the role

As UX/UI Designer, you will shape and continuously improve the digital experience for Barebells, with our e-commerce platforms at the centre.

You will be part of Global Brand & Design, where Barebells concepts, launches and creative direction take shape. This puts you close to the brand from the start, bringing UX/UI thinking into the creative process and translating it into digital experiences built around how people actually navigate, discover and shop.

Much of your day-to-day work will be together with our DTC team, connecting the brand and user experience with commercial priorities. You will bring a UX perspective to new launches and ongoing development, using behaviour, data and testing to understand what works and where we can improve.

You will be our dedicated UX/UI expertise in-house, working across Brand, E-commerce, Digital Merchandising, Performance Marketing and other teams.

The role is based at our headquarters in Stockholm and reports to the Global Brand Manager Barebells.

In short, you will:

• Design end-to-end e-commerce journeys, from navigation and product discovery through to purchase.

• Develop journeys, flows and prototypes and take them through to polished UI design.

• Shape how new products, categories and campaigns are introduced and connected across the wider Barebells portfolio.

• Identify friction and opportunities using behavioural data, user insights and testing, and turn those learnings into design improvements.

• Partner with DTC on e-commerce priorities, merchandising and platform development.

• Help establish our in-house UX/UI ways of working and raise the quality of our digital design over time.

What you can expect

• Close to the brand, close to the user. Work at the heart of Barebells Brand & Design, bringing new concepts, products and launches to life digitally.

• As our dedicated UX/UI specialist, you will have room to influence both the experiences we create and how we build this capability in-house.

• With new products, flavours and markets constantly developing, the design problems you work on will rarely stand still.

• Work closely with experienced colleagues across Brand & Design and DTC, with short decision paths that allow ideas to move quickly from concept to live experience.

Who are you?

You are an experienced UX/UI Designer with a strong foundation in UX and a sharp visual eye. You think beyond individual screens and naturally consider how the wider journey fits together – what people are trying to achieve, where they get stuck and how design can make the experience clearer and better.

You are equally comfortable moving from that thinking into execution. You can turn journeys and ideas into interfaces that are intuitive and visually strong, and you understand what it takes to design for a consumer brand where both experience and expression matter.

You enjoy working across disciplines and are confident bringing your UX/UI perspective to the table. You bring your own point of view, challenge when needed and can drive your work independently, while working closely with creative, e-commerce and commercial teams to get to the best solution.

Essential skills to succeed

• 4+ years of professional digital design experience, including hands-on UX/UI experience within an e-commerce environment.

• Strong UX expertise, including user journeys, information architecture, flows and interaction design.

• Strong UI and visual design capability, demonstrated through a portfolio of high-quality consumer-facing digital work.

• Experience taking design work end-to-end, from problem definition and early concepts through prototyping, final design and iteration.

• Experience using behavioural data, user insights and testing to inform design decisions and improvements.

• Professional proficiency in English
