Senior Secure OT Software Engineer

As a Senior Secure OT Software Engineer, you take a key role in building secure software for OT and embedded environments. You ensure that security is considered throughout the system and product lifecycle, not only during the implementation. A central part of your role is ensuring development teams and projects adopt secure software development practices. You work hands-on while also guiding others and embedding security thinking into everyday development. You will collaborate closely with other Software Engineers, QA and Testing Specialists, Security Experts, Client stakeholders and Product Owners. In addition to project work, you will contribute to the development of secure software development practices at Gofore and support colleagues with your expertise.

Mitä odotamme

• +5 years of experience in software development
• Solid experience in secure software development and its practical rollout into development teams
• Embedded software development experience, especially with C / C++
• Experience working with OT and industrial protocols, such as: Modbus OPC UA CAN (or similar fieldbus / industrial communication protocols)
• Experience with device and firmware security, such as: Secure boot Secure update mechanisms Firmware integrity and lifecycle security
• Solid understanding of OT environment security requirements, including: Availability and safety requirements Long system lifecycles Constraints of industrial and embedded systems
• Familiarity with the IEC 62443 standard family and its application in product development
• Experience with embedded Linux and/or edge devices
• Experience integrating or bridging OT and IT systems (e.g. industrial environments connected to cloud or enterprise systems)
