We are looking for an experienced Asset Management Manager to lead an organization of approximately 130 own employees at our Porvoo site, which employs around 950 people. You will shape the future of Asset Management and lead the performance and development of maintenance, plant availability and turnaround activities. As a member of the Porvoo leadership team and the Group Asset Management team, you will translate Group strategy into local priorities and ensure the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of our production facilities. The role reports to the VP Operations, Porvoo.

Together, we rise to the challenge, and these will be your contributions:

• Strengthen HSE, quality and emergency preparedness while ensuring that company values, ethical principles and compliance requirements are embedded in daily operations.
• Lead the overall performance and development of the local Asset Management organization, including maintenance, plant availability and turnaround activities.
• Translate Group Operations and Asset Management strategies into local priorities, implementation plans and performance targets.
• Define and follow up KPIs and drive continuous improvement across Asset Management and turnaround processes.
• Ensure that activities comply with Finnish legislation, applicable regulations, company management systems and internal standards.
• Manage the Asset Management portfolio, budget, resources, staffing and delivery within the agreed framework.
• Lead, coach and develop your team, ensuring effective recruitment, succession planning and competence development.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and represent the local Asset Management organization in site and Group-wide initiatives.

About you

Technical and operational expertise

• A master’s degree, preferably in engineering or another relevant technical field, and at least 14 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, asset management or operations within the process or petrochemical industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance and engineering, including HSE, quality and operational reliability.
• A solid understanding of the industry, its suppliers and customers, as well as strong business-level Finnish and English skills.

Leadership and future vision

• Several years of leadership experience and the credibility to provide clear direction, make well-founded decisions and develop an experienced organization.
• A clear vision for the future of Asset Management and the ability to translate future capability, technology, reliability and investment needs into long-term priorities for the Porvoo site.
• Experience in leading change and managing complexity, risk and crisis situations.
• Recognized for having excellent people skills with capability for coaching and feedback to create a winning team culture.
• Recognized for being communicative, dialogue engaging, inspiring, motivating and setting direction for others.

Strategic influence and stakeholder management

• The ability to influence and build strong networks across functions, organizational levels and cultural backgrounds in a complex international organization.
• The credibility to advocate effectively for the Porvoo site’s strategic priorities and investment needs through clear communication and compelling business cases.
