WeAre Solutions Oy is a Finnish consultancy specializing in Splunk and observability. As a leading Splunk Elite Partner, we help organizations design, implement, develop, and operate Splunk solutions that provide visibility into business-critical applications, infrastructure, and digital services.
Our work goes far beyond selling licenses or creating dashboards. We help customers build Splunk into a long-term operational capability, one that supports faster problem resolution, better decision-making, stronger resilience, and more reliable digital services.
Our team holds comprehensive Splunk certifications and works with customers across industries such as banking and finance, energy, retail, the public sector and other complex enterprise environments.
Our ambition is to become the most advanced and trusted Splunk and observability consultancy in Northern Europe.
We are looking for an experienced Splunk Consultant or Splunk Specialist to join our Splunk team and work on customer-facing projects.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who already has practical experience with Splunk and wants to deepen their expertise while solving real operational challenges for large organizations.
Depending on your background and interests, your work may include Splunk architecture, deployments, integrations, data onboarding, dashboards, alerting, cloud migrations, platform development and ongoing support.
You will work closely with customers and experienced colleagues, but you will also have the freedom to take ownership of your work and influence how solutions are designed and delivered.
Your responsibilities may include:
Designing, implementing and developing Splunk environments
Planning and carrying out Splunk deployment and architecture projects
Onboarding data from applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms and other systems
Building and maintaining data inputs, parsing, field extractions and integrations
Creating searches, dashboards, reports, alerts and operational views using SPL
Improving data quality, search performance and platform scalability
Supporting migrations from on-premises Splunk environments to Splunk Cloud
Troubleshooting technical issues and supporting customers in production environments
Helping customers improve monitoring, logging and observability practices
Advising customers on architecture, data usage and Splunk best practices
Participating in the development and productization of WeAre’s own Splunk and managed observability services
Sharing knowledge and working collaboratively with other Splunk specialists
Depending on the project, you may also work with areas such as Splunk Enterprise Security, Splunk IT Service Intelligence, Splunk Observability Cloud, Cribl, OpenTelemetry or cloud-native environments.
A typical day might involve:
Meeting a customer to understand a new monitoring or data requirement
Configuring data collection from an application, server or cloud environment
Investigating why data is missing, incorrectly parsed or difficult to search
Creating an SPL search, alert, dashboard or report for a specific operational need
Improving an existing Splunk architecture or integration
Troubleshooting performance or platform issues with the customer
Collaborating with colleagues on a cloud migration or observability project
Developing a reusable solution that can support future customer engagements
The work is varied: some projects focus on architecture and implementation, while others involve continuous development, optimization, support or managed services.
We would like you to have:
Practical professional experience working with Splunk
Experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud Platform or both
Good understanding of log data, data ingestion and monitoring
Experience creating searches, dashboards, reports or alerts using SPL
Understanding of how Splunk components and data flows work
Experience troubleshooting Splunk-related issues
A solid understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, networks or cloud environments
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and translate their needs into practical technical solutions
Professional working proficiency in Finnish and in English
You do not need to have everything listed below, but experience in one or more of these areas would be beneficial:
Splunk architecture, administration or large-scale deployments
Splunk Cloud migrations
Splunk Enterprise Security or IT Service Intelligence
Splunk Observability Cloud
Splunk certifications
Data onboarding, parsing, field extraction and source-type configuration
Linux and scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell
AWS, Azure or hybrid cloud environments
Docker, Kubernetes or OpenTelemetry
Information security, SIEM, ITOps or application performance monitoring
Consulting or customer-facing technical work
We are interested in both experienced Splunk consultants and technical Splunk specialists who are ready to take the next step in their careers. You do not need to know every Splunk product, but you should already be comfortable working practically with the platform.
You could be a good fit if you:
Enjoy solving complex technical problems
Take ownership and follow issues through to resolution
Are curious about how systems, applications and data connect
Can work independently while contributing actively to a team
Are comfortable discussing technical requirements directly with customers
Want to build useful, maintainable solutions, not merely make a tool work temporarily
Are motivated to continuously develop your Splunk and observability expertise
Value openness, trust, and knowledge sharing
You must be based in Finland
Our office is located in Pasila, Helsinki, next to the Mall of Tripla
You may work from the office, from home or elsewhere in Finland, provided the arrangement works for the customer and your team
Occasional travel to customer locations may be required
Monthly salary: €4,500–€6,000, depending on your experience and expertise
Flexible and remote-friendly working model
Work equipment of your choice
Lunch benefit
Phone benefit
Home internet benefit
Free gym in our office building
Support for professional development, online learning and certifications
Opportunities to work alongside highly experienced Splunk and observability specialists
At WeAre, you will have the opportunity to:
Work on meaningful Splunk projects in complex enterprise environments
Develop solutions that support business-critical applications and services
Learn from experienced and comprehensively certified Splunk professionals
Expand your expertise across Splunk, cloud, security and observability
Influence technical decisions and the way customer solutions are delivered
Contribute to the development of our own Splunk and managed observability services
Work in a culture built on trust, autonomy and low bureaucracy
Join a community of more than 60 technology professionals where people are treated as individuals—not resources
We value autonomy and trust over micromanagement. Our goal is to provide an environment where people can take responsibility, develop professionally and do work they genuinely find meaningful.
Our recruitment process normally includes two discussions.
The first conversation is an opportunity for us to learn about your experience, interests and career goals. You will also get to know WeAre, our projects and the way we work.
The second discussion is more technical and usually includes members of our Splunk team. There is no formal examination. Instead, we want to have an open technical conversation about your experience and the types of Splunk environments, challenges, and projects you have worked with.
Our goal is for the process to be informative, respectful, and useful for both sides.
If you already work with Splunk and want to develop your expertise through varied customer projects, complex technical environments and collaboration with experienced specialists, we would be happy to hear from you.
Tell us briefly about your Splunk experience, the environments you have worked with, and the areas you would like to develop next.
Apply now and help us build the next generation of Splunk and observability services.
