Senior Business Systems Analyst – hybrid

Our client is a leading financial institution undergoing a major digital transformation, focused on delivering innovative banking solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We are looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join a cross-functional technology team building next-generation digital banking products.

You will work within a multidisciplinary Agile team, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, testers, and DevOps engineers to design and deliver scalable, customer-centric digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and identify appropriate technology solutions.
• Understand, validate, and challenge business needs when necessary.
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Estimate effort required for analysis activities.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and solution design discussions.
• Support development, testing, and DevOps teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Assess feasibility, risks, dependencies, and business impact of proposed solutions.
• Perform impact analysis on existing systems and integrations.
• Design and document solutions for enterprise-grade applications operating in high-volume and high-availability environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across development and delivery processes.
• Participate throughout the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and analysis to production support.
• Conduct sanity testing and support post-release validation activities.
• Provide Level 3 support and assist in troubleshooting production issues.

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software delivery processes and technology ecosystems.
• Proven experience gathering, refining, prioritizing, and documenting requirements in Agile environments.
• Ability to independently lead analysis activities and drive functional design discussions.
• Experience translating business needs into detailed functional specifications.
• Good understanding of databases and data structures, including SQL-based validation activities.
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, and messaging-based architectures.
• Basic hands-on experience validating mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Detail-oriented and delivery-focused mindset.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
