Front-end Technical Lead – Hybrid

Position Overview

As a Front-end Technical Lead, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and leading the delivery of modern, high-performance web applications for the gaming industry. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of front-end engineers while driving architectural decisions and ensuring the adoption of best engineering practices.

Working with modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, Redux, Vite, Zustand, and GitLab, you will contribute to a scalable and modular front-end ecosystem, collaborating closely with Product, Back-end, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver innovative gaming solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of Front-end Developers through coaching, regular 1:1 meetings, performance feedback, and career development.
• Drive technical excellence by promoting best practices, code quality, and engineering standards.
• Contribute to technical strategy, architecture decisions, technology roadmaps, and technical reviews.
• Support the team in solving complex technical challenges and making sound architectural decisions.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Front-end Development

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-browser web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build scalable, modular, and maintainable front-end architectures.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Develop reusable components and contribute to shared front-end libraries.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Architecture & Engineering

• Design and evolve modern front-end architectures using concepts such as:
  • Monorepositories
  • Module Federation
  • Micro-frontends
  • Dynamic configuration
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and development tools where appropriate.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Back-end, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support technical planning, estimations, and delivery within Agile development teams.
• Ensure technical solutions comply with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• At least 3 years of experience leading software development teams or technical projects.
• Proven experience building modern React applications in production environments.
• Strong understanding of modern front-end architecture and scalable application design.
