Are you a Java Developer looking for your next challenge in the banking industry?
You’ll work alongside a collaborative team, building reliable, secure and high-performance applications that support essential banking operations.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand and refine requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, technical design, development, testing and production releases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices.
- Provide Level 3 support for live applications.
- Promote secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on Java experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and implementing web service security.
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of design patterns and microservice architecture.
- At least 2 years of experience with Spring Data JDBC or equivalent technologies, using Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Gradle and Artifactory.
- Familiarity with Docker and OpenShift.
- Good communication skills, a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
Nice to have: Experience with AWS or other cloud solutions.
Experience with Appian is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
