Business Systems Analyst – Insurance & Investment Products

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst with experience in insurance and digital transformation projects, who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The role focuses on analyzing business processes, defining requirements, supporting system integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions for insurance and investment products.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of business analysis, system integrations, APIs, data flows, and process optimization, combined with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Act as the main point of collaboration between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams.
• Understand insurance and investment product processes and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support digital transformation initiatives from requirements definition through implementation and delivery.
• Define system integrations, interfaces, APIs, and data mappings between applications.
• Analyze existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to process optimization.
• Perform impact analysis and assess risks related to system changes and integrations.
• Support solution validation, testing activities, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, including process flows, integration diagrams, sequence diagrams, and data models.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and business teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Contribute to digitalization initiatives and leverage AI tools for analysis, documentation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business & Systems Analysis.
• Mandatory experience with insurance products and processes.
• Experience with investment/savings products is considered an advantage.
• Experience working on complex digital transformation projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and process modeling.
• Knowledge of SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, DB2 SQL) and data analysis.
• Experience with system integrations and end-to-end connectivity between different applications.
• Good understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration architectures.
• Hands-on experience with API tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and SoapUI.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML data structures.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ, RabbitMQ).
• Experience creating and interpreting UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and integration diagrams.
• Ability to analyze complex systems, identify risks, and propose effective solutions.
• Familiarity with AI tools used for business analysis, documentation, automation, and process improvement.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
